Wilhelmina

As owls go, “Wills” is up there with the biggest and heaviest of all of the owls
Like eagles, it kills larger prey by a combination of its immensely powerful grip, huge razor-sharp talons and the sheer power of its strike. Almost nothing is safe from a Verreaux’s Eagle Owl.

Thankfully Wilhelmina hasn’t read that book and is one of our sweetest tempered owls. She likes nothing more than wandering around the Park on a glove, meeting people and having her head scratched occasionally.

An amazing owl for any adoption.
