Hi Everyone and a very Happy New Year to you all,

I have had a great time here in Lancashire. I’ve eaten far too much and need to start getting fit again! I can’t go back to Llandudno looking fat and slow! I will need to reassert my authority with quite a few guys over there who are getting a bit above themselves.

Take that little chap Donald Dunnock – he’s now hobnobbing with Charlie the Eagle Owl. He’s so cheeky! I am going to have to decide whether his nerve in making himself at home with some of the biggest owls who live in the sanctuary could be useful to me or not. Hmm-mm.

I thought I’d introduce you to some of the owls at Llandudno that I haven’t talked much about so far.

This is Aled. He’s a European Eagle Owl and is our oldest owl. He’s nearly 30!! He’s a very gentle kind person and gets on with everyone. He likes to meet the children who visit the sanctuary. He loves a stroke and a cuddle! He’s very strong though and his relatives that live in the wild are among the birds that really rule the skies!

I’ll tell you more about some of the others soon.

Hoots and love for now

Otis
