Hasn’t the weather been good lately? All the sunshine means there have been a lot of people coming to see us and I have made friends with loads of children! I hope they have all gone home to read my blog! Hi, There all of you are!
I went up to see Douglas today.
He said that his wife Danielle is still sitting on their eggs and everything is going well. Hopefully, we shall see some chicks soon.
I then went for a chat with my new friend Spike the pony.
He was having a spot of hay but he was happy to talk to me. He says that all the horses are getting a bit fed up with hay for dinner all the time. If only the weather would warm up a bit things would start to grow and they could all have fresh juicy grass whenever they wanted. Personally, I can’t understand this business of eating grass and stuff – never was one for vegetables myself!
Spike told me that I should get one of the people to take me down to the beach sometime. He says it is lovely down there and there are lots of other birds to talk to. I asked Mac if he has ever been down there but he says he doesn’t bother as you have to have special feet to live on a beach. Special feet? Whatever does he mean?
