Hi Fans!
I had a really good day yesterday!
It was lovely and sunny so I did some sunbathing
then the pupils from St. John’s Primary Academy came to Bodafon to see us. They come every year and we do like to see them. This year they gave me a round of applause when Jenni introduced me. I liked that. I hope they are all going to read this blog of mine now! So hello all of you if you are reading!
Lots of people who come to Bodafon like to see Sheila the Kookaburra. She is good fun (though she is often very noisy and wakes me up sometimes when I am trying to have a quick nap).
In Australia, where her kind of bird comes from, the people call them Laughing Jackasses! I think that is a bit unkind. Yes her call does sound like a human laughing but she is not stupid. In fact she is really very clever.
Pam tells me we are going to have another Australian bird soon. It’s a Tawny Frogmouth! I don’t really know what this little fella is like but Pam says there are pictures of him on our Facebook page. Must have a look!
