I went out with Mac today to meet some of the other birds around the farm.
We picked up Donald Dunnock on our way.
He introduced us to a Song Thrush and then a Chaffinch.
The Chaffinch was very glad to have the seed that Jenni had put out. He told me that all the birds were finding this cold weather very trying and it is hard to find enough to eat at this time of year.
Mr and Mrs Blackbird came by and they too said how hard it was to find things to eat.
They asked me to say to you all that they would be very glad if you would put out as much food as possible at the moment.
I must say I enjoyed meeting them all but I am very worried about them. This cold Spring is really bad news for all my friends.
Hoots for now – and go to put out some food!
Otis
