Benjamin
Western Screech Owl
Benjamin
Benjamin is a Western Screech Owl and is recorded breeding at over 2,500m in Western North America.
Benjie doesn’t know this and is often found scrunched up beneath a volunteers’ jumper in the winter! He also doesn’t know that his species can tackle birds as large as pigeons, domestic hens and pheasants in America. Despite his angry appearance, this is a “softie”. At only 6” high he needs all your help to improve his self-esteem!
