Hi, Fans!

Ooh! It does look cold outside! So glad I’m still on my hols with Ian’s family!

I got a message from Jenni to say there have been lots of Fieldfares and Redwings on the fields below the sanctuary. They are two kinds of thrushes that visit the UK in winter. They fly south from northern Europe. If you’d like to find out more about the use of these links.

Kilmousky says the extra people who have been around the farm are going to start work making Douglas’s aviary look nice. Douglas will probably appreciate that but I’m not sure about Danielle, his wife. She’s a quiet soul and she likes things to stay put. She will probably be laying eggs soon and she will want peace and quiet for that.

Hoots for now
