Huw
Long Eared Owl
Huw
Huw is a rather shy but very friendly little chap. He is a stalwart member of the Education Team and has delighted many schools and other groups.
He is quite a conversationalist who chats to you with soft twitters. He is very a beautiful, dainty bird and patient with children who want to stroke him.
Until a few years ago we were unable to breed the Long Eared in captivity. Huw is one of the very first of this species to be bred in the UK.
If you choose to adopt him you will have a sweet little friend to visit.
