Ashy Faced Owl
Luis
Luis is an Ambassador for one of our major Conservation Projects which you can read about on The Owls Trust Abroad page.
Ashy Faced owls are only found on the islands of Hispaniola where we are leading an international project to ensure they are protected before the development of the island destroys their habitat completely and they become extinct.
Named after one of our co-workers in the zoo in Santo Domingo, Luis cannot be used for breeding in this country so he is doing his bit by publicising the problems that his species is facing back home.
He would appreciate your support and maybe a visit!
